Image Capture
The Image Capture Tool exports a high-quality image of the current viewport for external use.
Supported output formats include PNG and JPG.
Captured images reflect the current visual state of the viewport at the time of export.
Using the Image Capture Tool
- Select the Image Capture Tool from the toolbar
- A configuration dialog is displayed prior to export
Image Capture Configuration
The Image Capture dialog allows configuration of the exported image.
- Filename → Specify the name of the exported image
- Dimensions → Define the width and height of the output image
- File Type → Select the output format (e.g., PNG, JPG)
After configuration, confirm the export to download the image.
Behavior Notes
Captured images reflect the current viewport state, including applied zoom, window/level settings, annotations, and overlays.
Captured images are intended for reference and communication purposes and may not be suitable for diagnostic interpretation.
Ensure the desired image presentation (zoom, window/level, annotations) is set prior to capture.
Known Issue
When adjusting the image dimensions (width) with Show Annotations enabled, annotations in the image preview do not remain anchored to their original location. The measurement shifts to a new position instead of staying correctly aligned with the point where it was created.
